 CCP Quant, Senior Data Scientist, brings us a detailed overview with the damage output in EVE Online in raw hit points in 2015 per ship and weapon group.

The damage overview is grouped by ship type and further refined by weapon type, you can see exactly which weapon types were used most by which ship groups. For comparision check out the damage profile chart 2014 (plus discussion).
